Unique and Full of Wonder
“It’s about being unique and offering, you know, plant art. We like to take plants that pop and just make it more art than plant. We definetly try to make something where people can walk right and say, “I need to have that.” They don’t know why, but they need to have it.
We also make Kokedama. It’s a styling of plants where we take the dirt and plastic pot off, wrap it in moss, add twine around it, string it up so it hangs. If you have three of them at three different levels you have a string garden!”
“It’s funny because we go to the grower and we pick out all this stuff and the grower guy who looks at this kind of all stuff all the time, he’s like, Why do you want that?
And we’re like, you know, you’re not looking at this like us, we’re trying to have unique plants, things that you can’t find every day. So we strive to have something for everybody.”
Something for Everyone
“We keep a collection of all sorts of plants, whether you have a green thumb or not. If you want something specific, common or rare, we can get it- almost always faster than buying it online.”
Our abbreviated Story
“We started at our house in March and April of 2020. It quickly became a jungle. After a while we were able to sell some plants at the farmers market, and we were fortunate that this space was open in Downtown Elkhart- just a block from our former apartment many years ago.
We love watching Downtown Elkhart continue to become a destination once again, and we hope to continue to play a part it’s growth!”
